Raddy WF-50T: a clear screen you can forget about
The WF-50T is about clarity and low fuss; a good sensor spot is all it really needs.
Give the sensor shade
Sit the outdoor sensor out of direct sun and driving rain — a north wall or a sheltered eave is ideal. Sun on the sensor pushes the temperature up; shade gives you the real outdoor reading.
Mind the low-battery icon
The sensor runs up to a year, but when the low-battery icon appears, change the cells promptly so the link stays solid. Good alkalines last longest, especially through a cold winter.
Keep it within range
Readings refresh every 30 seconds within about 100 m. If the outdoor figures drop out, move the sensor closer or higher, away from thick walls and large metal objects.
