It's a proper UK model, so the MSF radio-controlled clock sets itself to the exact time and manages the spring and autumn changes on its own — and it takes up to three sensors if you want to extend it later.

As well as indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, a barometer and an animated weather trend, it shows the day's sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset times and the current moon phase — the kind of almanac a gardener planning jobs, a dog walker judging the light, or an angler reading the moon actually uses. A frost alarm flags when the outdoor temperature is sliding towards freezing so you can cover plants or grit a path in good time.

As the official UK version it takes the hassle out of the clock entirely. It receives the MSF radio time signal and sets itself to the exact second, then switches between GMT and BST automatically each spring and autumn, so it's always right and never needs adjusting. The blue-backlit LCD keeps everything legible in low light, and it supports up to three wireless sensors — one is included — so you can add a greenhouse or second room later. Do I ever have to set the clock?

No. As the UK version it receives the MSF radio time signal and sets itself exactly, then switches between GMT and BST on its own each spring and autumn. For good reception, keep it near a window for the first night and use quality batteries.

Does it warn about frost?

Yes — there's a frost (ice) alarm that alerts you when the outdoor temperature approaches freezing, along with an animated weather trend from the barometer, so you get a little warning before a cold snap.

Can I add more sensors?

Yes. One wireless sensor is included and it supports up to three, so you can monitor a greenhouse or another room by adding YC9315 sensors later.
